Job summary

The Lanesborough Grill in London, part of Oetker Hotels, invites a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join a luxury dining team beside Hyde Park. You will deliver attentive, personalised service in a fast-paced setting and work closely with bartenders to support seamless service.

You should bring experience in fine dining, immaculate grooming, and excellent English; knowledge of wine and food pairing is a plus. A second language is preferred, as is a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential; Michelin star experience preferable
• Excellent command of the English language; a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards; preferably knowledge of wine & food pairing

Candidate Profile

As a Commis Waiter/Waitress in the Library Bar, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing attentive and personalised service in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. You will be an excellent communicator with a hands‑on approach, building strong rapport with guests and anticipating their needs. A genuine passion for cocktails, spirits and hospitality will enable you to confidently recommend, upsell and promote drinks and menu items through your knowledge and enthusiasm. As a team player, you will work closely with bartenders and colleagues to ensure smooth service and create memorable experiences for every guest who visits the bar.

Key Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential and experience within a Michelin star restaurant is preferable
• Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards.
