The Lanesborough Grill at The Lanesborough in London is seeking a Commis Waiter to support both the restaurant and kitchen teams with mise en place and service operations. You will play a hands-on role, ensuring flawless service and memorable experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, has a passion for customer service, and maintains immaculate grooming standards. An element of manual handling is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment.
• Excellent command of English; a second language preferred.
• Immaculate grooming standards and professional presentation.

Candidate Profile

As a Commis Waiter you will be an excellent communicator and take a hands-on approach to your role. You will be a team player supporting both the restaurant and kitchen team with mise en place and service operations to ensure that your team creates a memorable experience for our guests. On occasions you will be responsible to work on your own accord and communicate with key departments to ensure a flawless service. There is a key emphasis on procedures and reporting to your supervisor anything that requires immediate attention.

Key Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential
• Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards.
