Job summary

The Londoner is recruiting a Commis Chef to join its culinary team in London. You will ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served, following all recipes precisely and assisting in overall quality control across the kitchen.

You will be motivated to learn from senior chefs and to grow your culinary skills within a boutique yet large-scale hotel environment. You will hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate, be passionate about food, and have the confidence to communicate with

• Be passionate about food and keen to learn and develop new cooking techniques.
• Hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
• Confidently communicate with other chefs and build rapport within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following recipes precisely.
• Assist in mise en place and ensure enough quantity for the day.

We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef at The Londoner Hotel.

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the culinary team at The Londoner Hotel.
• You will ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served, following all recipes precisely and assisting in overall quality control across the kitchen and sections as required.
• You will be motivated and keen to learn new culinary skills from the senior chefs.
• You will ensure that all mis enplace is done timely and that there is a sufficient quantity for the day ahead.
• You will support senior members of the kitchen brigade at all times.

About You

• Be passionate about food and keen to learn and develop new cooking techniques.
