The Lanesborough Grill at The Lanesborough in London is seeking a Commis Waiter. You will be an excellent communicator and support both restaurant and kitchen teams with mise en place and service operations to ensure a memorable guest experience.

This luxury property values grooming, English proficiency, and a hands-on approach. You will report to supervisors and collaborate with departments to ensure flawless service; some roles may involve light manual handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential.
• Excellent command of the English language; a second language would be preferred.

Candidate Profile

As a Commis Waiter you will be an excellent communicator and take a hands‑on approach to your role. You will be a team player supporting both the restaurant and kitchen team with mise en place and service operations to ensure that your team creates a memorable experience for our guests. On occasions you will be responsible to work on your own accord and communicate with key departments to ensure a flawless service. There is a key emphasis on procedures and reporting to your supervisor anything that requires immediate attention.
