The Lanesborough, a luxury hotel in central London, is seeking a Casual Night Cleaner to uphold the highest cleanliness and safety standards. Working with the Back of House team, you will clean staff areas, corridors and facilities during night hours, ensuring presentation meets the hotel's exacting requirements.

You should have experience in professional cleaning, a good command of English, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Candidate Profile

As a Casual Night Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the exceptional cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards expected at The Lanesborough. Working within the Back of House team, you will be responsible for ensuring all staff areas, corridors, facilities, and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards throughout the night. The role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to completing cleaning schedules, and a commitment to health and safety procedures. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you will work closely with colleagues across multiple departments to support the smooth operation of the hotel while upholding The Lanesborough and Oetker Hotels values.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience within a professional cleaning environment; luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of COSHH, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Manual Handling regulations.
• Command of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
• Well-groomed appearance and high standards of personal hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and varying schedules as required.
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties and heavy lifting safely as part of the role.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to undertake training and support departmental objectives.
