Job summary

Marston’s pub group is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team. Prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new skills and owning a section of the kitchen as you grow. You’ll work in a fast-paced team, support day-to-day kitchen operations, and deliver great, hot food to spec.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Learning and applying prep techniques and contributing to menu items.
• Bringing dishes to life and maintaining kitchen standards.
• Owning a section of the kitchen and ensuring timely service.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily operations and cleanliness.
