Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at one of our prestigious golf and country clubs in the UK. You will assist the Sous Chef with food preparation to specification, helping produce high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

You'll source ingredients and small equipment, maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow food hygiene practices. The role offers training, development opportunities and a supportive team culture within our CARE values.

Qualifications

• GCSE qualification and/or Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous hospitality cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef with food preparation to specification.
• Source ingredients and small equipment items.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and follow safe food handling practices.
• Report to the Head Chef and participate in training.
• Assist during busy periods and functions as required.
