Potters Resorts Five Lakes is hiring a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will work alongside experienced chefs to prepare fresh, high-quality dishes for our guests and develop skills across multiple kitchen sections.

We invite individuals with a real passion for food and a collaborative mindset. Full training will be provided, with shifts across early, midday, and late rotations. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality food.

• Previous kitchen or Commis Chef experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and assisting with production of salads, vegetables, starters, main courses and bakery items.
• Working across different kitchen sections as required.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
• Following HACCP procedures and temperature checks.
• Assisting with stock rotation and waste reduction through portion control.
• Ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to high standards.
• Supporting team during busy service periods to deliver exceptional dining.
• Learning about dietary requirements, allergens and preparation techniques.
• Attending training sessions to continually develop culinary knowledge.
