Job summary

The Chancery Rosewood in London is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You’ll support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, help run your section, and contribute to delivering the highest standards of quality and presentation.

You’ll work across the kitchen with a proactive, team‑driven approach, while developing your culinary skills in a fast paced environment. We value pride in craft, attention to detail, and a flexible mindset, with training on HACCP and safe working

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dishes in line with recipes and technical sheets, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and presentation.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily tasks and assignments, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of your section.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, following HACCP, food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Build strong knowledge of menu allergens and ingredients, helping us deliver a safe and considered experience for every guest.
• Inspect ingredient deliveries for quality, accuracy and quantity, taking pride in the standards behind every dish we serve.
