Job summary

Manpower Recruitment is seeking a Commis Chef for an established college in Oxford City Centre. The role is permanent and offers a starting point in a professional kitchen with a strong focus on food preparation.

You will work 40 hours per week over five from seven, with early or late shifts (6:30am–2:30pm or 12:30pm–8:30pm) including weekends and Bank Holidays. The college supports training and progression toward higher qualifications.

The role is Permanent-

• £31095
  per annum
• The shift roster is 40hrs/wk over any 5 from 7 days including weekends and Bank holidays.
• Shift Start times: Earlies: 6.30am-2.30pm. Lates: 12.30pm-8.30pm (always subject to operational requirements).

My Client is looking someone who may not yet have commercial chefing experience, this role is the beginner level of the kitchen brigade and therefore involves a lot of food preparation. However, as individuals become more confident, opportunities are presented for more independent cooking.

However, the ideal candidate will be looking for professional development in our professional and high standard kitchen. Th College would seek to put the successful candidate through further formal training within the first couple of years.
