Job summary

Contract Options are recruiting an experienced Evening Chef to join our contract catering team in Witney, Oxfordshire (OX29) on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is Monday to Friday, 6:00pm-2:00am with £16.00 per hour and immediate start.

You will work alongside another chef, catering for approximately 150 people, reheating and serving dishes, preparing fresh salads, and maintaining food hygiene and a clean kitchen environment. Own transport is essential due to hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Chef
• Ability to work on their own initiative at night
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen standards

Responsibilities

• Reheat and serve fresh food prepared by the day team
• Cook some dishes from fresh
• Prepare fresh salads for the salad bar
• Prepare and carry out prep for the breakfast service
• Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy
• Adhere to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Support with general kitchen porter duties
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

We are recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a well-established contract catering team in Witney, Oxfordshire, on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their skills in a professional catering environment.

What you'll be doing as an chef

• Reheating and serving fresh food prepared by the day team
• Cooking some dishes from fresh
• Preparing fresh salads for the salad bar
• Preparing and carrying out prep for the breakfast service
• Keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy
• Adhering to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Supporting with general kitchen porter duties
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

There is a dedicated night cleaner for the restaurant, so your main focus will be ondelivering great food and excellent service.
