Job summary

Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent, Commis Chef for an established restaurant based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings. The role is paying £26000pa + Service Charge (up to £3000 per year).

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and serve meals that meet the standards set by the Head Chef.
• A Commis Chef assists a section chef, also known as a Chef de Partie.
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish.
• Assisting other Chefs.
• Helping with deliveries and restocking.
• Assisting with stock rotation/Cleaning stations.
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings

The role is paying £26000pa + Service Charge (up to £3000 per year)

• No Monday working as restaurant is closed
• Allocated one extra evening off per week.
• Split Shifts required between shifts.
• Live in options available for a small fee

Overall Objective:

• To prepare, cook and serve meals that meet the standards set by the Head Chef.
• A Commis Chef assists a section chef, also known as a Chef de Partie. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including: Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation/Cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
