Quod Restaurant & Bar in Oxford is seeking a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team led by Rohan Kashid, Head Chef at Quod and Head of Menu Development for The Oxford Collection. You will help run a section during service, follow recipe and presentation specifications, and maintain prep levels to support a busy service.

Quod is an independent, bustling, city centre restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats. Located on Oxford’s famous High Street, Quod is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner. The menu consists of European classics with an emphasis on British produce. The busy restaurant, with a high level of repeat business, is open every day of the year.
Quod is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar. We are looking for a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team run by Rohan Kashid, Head Chef at Quod and Head of Menu Development at The Oxford Collection.
We offer a sensible shift pattern across a 45-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £16.11 per hour, £37,697.00 per annum.
Based on 45 hours per week, and including non-contractual tronc (service charge).
Part-time hours may also be considered.
Eligibility to work within the UK must be proven and two references should be available on request.
