Job summary

Marston’s is looking for a passionate Commis Chef to join our team in the pub kitchen. You’ll help prep, cook and bring our menu to life, learning new skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, friendly team, with opportunities to grow and move along our internal career pathway toward Sous Chef, while benefiting from flexible or part-time hours, meals on shift, staff discounts and support for Apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a Kitchen Porter
• Ability to learn kitchen areas and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team and deliver hot food to spec

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations
• Own a section of the kitchen and contribute to service

Skills

Experience in a similar role
