Job summary

Hilton Belfast is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will work across multiple stations—from our main restaurant and bar to large-scale banqueting and events—learning key culinary techniques and developing your career in hospitality.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, supported by experienced chefs, with opportunities for growth and progression within Hilton Belfast.

Qualifications

• Shows genuine passion for the hospitality industry and creativity in food.
• Works well in a team and communicates clearly.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Flexible to work across early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in hospitality or service is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist across multiple kitchen stations (main restaurant, bar, banqueting, events).
• Learn key culinary techniques and develop skills under experienced chefs.
• Work in a busy kitchen while maintaining high standards and safety.
