Job summary

Vertu Ford West Bromwich is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair and service vehicles to the highest standards. The role involves diagnostic work, routine servicing and complex repairs as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

The position offers a basic salary between £28,000 - £38,600 depending on skills and experience, a 40 hour week with Saturdays paid as overtime and a £4,000 sign-on bonus (£2,000 in month one and £2,000 in month 13).

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Join our team at Vertu Ford West Bromwich and become a valued Service and Diagnostic Commercial Technician.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,000 - £38,600 depending on skills and experience.

This is based on a 40 hour working week and Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We are also offering a £4000 sign on bonus, £2000 paid in month one and £2000 paid in month 13!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work. You will be responsible for diagnostic, repair and servicing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

Qualifications and skills

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
