We are recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a successful commercial vehicle dealership and premium automotive brand.

Your responsibilities will include mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on vehicles to a high standard.

Working hours follow a 3-week rota: 2 weeks of day shifts, followed by 1 week of evening shifts from Monday to Thursday, plus one Saturday every 3 weeks.

The Role

• Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles, vans, or trucks
• Fault finding and diagnostics, resolving faults efficiently
• Completing job cards and relevant paperwork accurately
• Collaborating with the service and parts teams to plan and communicate repairs
• Performing mechanical work safely and to high standards
• Providing technical advice and excellent customer service
• Supporting the development of apprentices

What we are looking for

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic (Light OR Heavy Vehicle Repair)
• Mechanical experience with Vans or Trucks
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard
