We have an exciting opportunity for Commercial Vehicle Business Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic organisation. As a key member of the Commercial Vehicle team, we are looking for experienced automotive professional with a passion for increasing Dealership capacity, enhancing service customer relationships and workshop performance, whilst helping automotive Dealer’s reach their full potential.
As a Business Manager with the MSXI Global group, you will be joining a team of Commercial Vehicle Business Managers. You will work closely with our longstanding automotive partner, a respected global automotive manufacturer. You should have experience of automotive aftersales, be able to review performance data and identify and implement areas for improvement.
This position is field based covering Dealers in Scotland, North of England and Northern Ireland, therefore the successful candidate will be required to travel including overnight stays for up to a week at a time.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop action plans with Dealer Service, Sales and Marketing managers to grow Commercial Vehicle business and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that each Commercial Vehicle Dealer has optimum levels of Commercial Vehicle Workshop capacity to service the growing local Commercial Vehicle parc and to assist Dealers to increase capacity where necessary.
- Increase vehicle visits and spend per visit at Dealers.
- Implement and ensure the success of centrally produced Commercial Vehicle programs advising, training and coaching Dealers as necessary.
- Attend regular update meetings, report on overview and best practices, develop presentations for business reviews, workshops and similar events.
- Ensuring that the CV Key Performance Metrics are in place with all Transit Centre Dealers and that a regular reporting process is set up to monitor progress against these KPIs.
- Lead the launch of ‘Uptime Management system’ with Dealers focusing on reducing Commercial Vehicle customer downtime.
- Assist Dealers with the Mobile Service program.
- Improve the Commercial Vehicle Sales to Service introduction process.
- Provide specific Dealer initiative action and reporting to project management.
- Any other tasks required to support the business from the operational perspective.
Qualifications
- Automotive Dealer aftersales experience, Commercial Vehicle experience would be an advantage.
- Strong drive for results.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams to strict deadlines.
- Numerical and analytical capabilities.
- Computer literate, in particular MS Office.
- Full driving license is essential.
Additional Information
- Full time (Monday – Friday)
- Based in Scotland.
- Travel to Dealer locations for up to 80% of working week (fully expensed)
- Will be required to attend monthly meetings at clients HQ in Dunton Essex.
