Job Title: Business Development Manager

We’reElite Contract Furniture, and we supply high-quality furniture for hotels, care homes, student accommodation, and other busy places that need to look good and work hard. We’ve built a strong reputation across the UK for being reliable, easy to work with, and for doing a great job from start to finish.

We’re growing and looking for aBusiness Development Managerto help us find new customers, build strong relationships, and grow our business in key areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Find and connect with new businesses in sectors like hospitality and healthcare.
  • Reach out to potential clients, attend events, and use your own research to find leads.
  • Build lasting relationships with people like buyers, designers, architects, and project managers.
  • Represent Elite at trade shows and industry events.
  • Work closely with our in-house design, sales, and delivery teams to offer the right solutions for each client.
  • Keep track of your progress, hit your targets, and share updates with the wider team.
  • Stay on top of what’s happening in the market and what our competitors are up to.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone with experience in business development or sales, ideally in contract furniture, interiors, or fit-out work.
  • A good network of contacts in hospitality or healthcare is a bonus.
  • You should enjoy meeting new people, be confident talking to clients, and comfortable handling negotiations.
  • You’re motivated, well-organised, and able to manage your own time.
  • A practical understanding of what businesses need and how to help them solve problems.
