Job summary

Halfords HCFS in Portsmouth is recruiting an experienced Commercial Tyre Fitter to join our mobile fleet team. You will fit and repair tyres on cars, vans, trucks and industrial vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

The role runs Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 08:00–12:00 with overtime and callout opportunities. Tools, PPE and a van are provided, and benefit from a generous uncapped bonus scheme and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Willingness to work with heavy machinery in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres for car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial, and earthmover vehicles both roadside and in depot.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.

Skills & Experience:

• Licence to work safely at the roadside
• Possess a full, current driving licence
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.
