Job summary

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) is looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter to join the UK’s largest automotive service network. This mobile role covers roadside and depot tyre fitting for car, van, truck and heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You’ll work a Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule with Saturdays 08:00–12:00, earning an uncapped bonus on top of a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Full, current driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover – roadside & in depot
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.

Skills & Experience

• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside
• Possess a full, current driving licence
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.
