Urenco is seeking a Head of Commercial at Capenhurst to lead the Commercial, Business Controls and Strategic Business Management functions. You will shape the commercial strategy, govern key contracts and drive sustainable growth, collaborating with UK and international partners to share best practices and lead governance initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong commercial acumen, governance, and robust budgeting while delivering organisational transformation and performance across UNS.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify and develop opportunities.
• Demonstrable analytical skills using data and performance information for decisions.
• Understanding of governance, business controls, risk management and change processes.
• Excellent financial management and budgetary control; link decisions to performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for the team to deliver UNS objectives.
• Lead development and delivery of the Commercial Strategy and revenue opportunities.
• Govern key external customer contracts aligned with strategy and risk appetite.
• Develop and deploy a commercial partnerships strategy creating mutual value.
• Collaborate with UK and international colleagues and partners to share best practices.
• Lead short-, medium-, long-term business strategies.
• Develop and implement the UNS Business Controls framework.
