Job summary

Urenco in the United Kingdom is seeking a procurement professional to lead the development and delivery of bespoke projects procurement strategies, maximising leverage with core suppliers and guiding end-to-end contracting. You will plan supplier relationships, undertake commercial negotiations, and work with legal to secure favourable terms.

The role offers security vetting and diverse training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) and CIPS qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in tactical buying and in sourcing, negotiation, and management of spend categories.
• Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts desirable; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver bespoke procurement strategies for major projects.
• Maximise leverage with Urenco relationships and core suppliers.
• Plan and undertake supplier relationships and contract management to ensure value delivery.
• Select contracting methodologies and execute contracts to meet project objectives.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and liaise with legal to mitigate risk.
