Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial matters for owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (supply, distribution, service contracts).
• Provide commercial input on corporate transactions and risk management.
• Support clients with business-to-business arrangements and trading policies.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and networking to support team growth.

We are seeking a Commercial Solicitor to work alongside our Head of Department, helping to shape the team and drive its continued growth and success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to work on a broad range of commercial matters, advising a diverse client base while developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of commercial matters, working closely with businesses at every stage of their growth, from owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger corporate organisations.

Your work will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Advising on supply, distribution, agency and service contracts
• Providing commercial support on corporate transactions
• Assisting clients with business-to-business arrangements and risk management
• Advising on terms and conditions, trading arrangements and commercial policies
• Advising on and drafting technology agreements - SaaS, PaaS, Cloud Services and software/application development
• Supporting clients with data protection, data transfers and data compliance matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through practical, commercially focused advice
• You will also play an active role in business development initiatives, networking activities and supporting the continued growth of the team.
