Job summary

Slater Heelis is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5-10 years PQE) to join the Dispute Resolution team. You will handle a varied caseload and provide pragmatic, client-focused solutions while contributing to the firm’s growth.

You will advise a broad range of clients on disputes including contract, shareholder, professional negligence, debt recovery, and commercial property matters. The role offers flexible/hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 5–10 years PQE in Commercial Litigation.
• Strong drafting and technical skills.
• Excellent client care and relationship management.
• Commercially aware and solutions-focused.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Advise SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporate clients and HNW individuals on commercial disputes.

Job description

Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of high-quality work, Slater Heelis is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5-10 years PQE) to join our ambitious and highly regarded Dispute Resolution team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to handle a varied and sophisticated caseload while playing an integral role in the continued expansion of a well-established, full-service law firm.

The Role

You will advise a broad range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals on a variety of commercial disputes, including:

• Breach of contract claims
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Professional negligence matters
• Director and business owner disputes
• Debt recovery and enforcement
• Commercial property-related disputes
• Injunctive relief
• General commercial and business litigation

You will manage your own caseload, build strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider firm.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

• Are qualified solicitors with between 5 and 10 years' PQE in Commercial Litigation
• Have strong technical and drafting skills
