SALARY: £39,934.13 per annum – Access to pool car.
HOURS: 40 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (Requirement to be flexible, dependant on business needs)

Purpose Of The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Cleaning Services Manager to lead operations across multiple commercial sites in the Southwest region. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, operational oversight, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will drive service excellence, support growth initiatives, and oversee a team of site-based Team Leaders and Cleaning Operatives to ensure consistent quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites, ensuring contractual and service level agreements are met.
- Line-manage and support a team of on-site Team Leaders, providing clear direction, performance management, and development support.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews to monitor service delivery and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a senior point of contact for escalations, service reviews and strategic planning.
- Lead client meetings, site inspections, and ensure proactive communication on service performance and improvements.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, service expansion, and new business within the region.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Sales and bid teams to support tender submissions, pricing proposals, and site transitions.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor KPIs, prepare quality and performance reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Resource & Financial Management
- Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and resource allocation across sites.
- Control budgets related to labour, supplies, and equipment; identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service delivery.
Essential Requirements For The Role
- Proven experience in an operational or regional management role within the commercial cleaning, facilities management, retail or hospitality sector.
- Strong track record managing multiple sites and leading teams across dispersed locations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience in account growth or business development.
- Solid understanding of cleaning standards, equipment, health & safety compliance, and quality reporting.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Southwest
