Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne to manage all commercial and financial aspects of the bid process. You will negotiate terms with customers, optimize the commercial strategy, and ensure smooth handover to project teams in a fast-growing Grid Technologies Substations business.

The role demands experience in contract forms (NEC, MF1, FIDIC), risk analysis, and stakeholder management across international projects. Hybrid work with remote options is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercially managing external customer bids.
• Experience in major projects in a financial/commercial role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiar with NEC, MF1, FIDIC contract forms.
• Experience presenting risk analysis to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and commercial activities during project acquisition.
• Define and implement commercial offer strategy for bids.
• Negotiate customer T&Cs and contracts.
• Coordinate handover to project execution for order entry.
