Job summary

NFU Mutual's Lincoln Agency is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to drive growth across the Lincoln area. You will identify and secure new commercial insurance opportunities, build relationships with business owners, and develop introducer networks.

The role offers £28,000–£40,000 base with uncapped commission and realistic on-target earnings up to £60,000. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, within a supportive team and with full training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or commercial insurance.
• Confident building relationships and networking within the local business community.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and target-oriented.
• Enjoys meeting customers and developing new opportunities.
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Generating and converting new commercial insurance opportunities.
• Building relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Creating and developing professional introducer and referral networks.
• Conducting customer meetings and needs-based discussions.
• Presenting tailored insurance solutions for commercial clients.
• Maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Working closely with colleagues across the Agency to achieve growth objectives.
