Collections Team Leader - Overdales

Thorpe Park, Leeds. Hybrid Working

Our team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our 3PC department. You'll motivate and lead Front Line Negotiators across our call or correspondence channels. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of your team's performance, ensuring your team performs well, hits all relevant targets and KPIs, and remains compliant. We seek candidates with strong communication and leadership skills, and a desire to support people to perform at their best.

Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day Management: Provide daily work direction, oversee activities, conduct workload and file reviews, and ensure efficient operations.
2. Supervision and Evaluation: Assist with account queries and escalated calls, manage a senior caseload, and conduct performance reviews.
3. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements, contribute to the Business Improvement Forum, and collaborate with internal audit for improvement actions.
4. Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, internal compliance, risk frameworks, and client requirements.
5. Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to shape collection strategies and ensure compliance with company procedures.
6. Training & Development: Coach team members, upskill personal knowledge, and create a multi-skilled team of collections advisors.
7. Performance Achievement: Drive the team to meet targets related to service quality and delinquency, and develop metrics and MI for performance optimization.
8. Client Management: Support client audits and communicate operational matters with Client Management.

• Experience in a litigation environment (desirable)

• Experience in commercial debt recovery (desirable)
