Job summary

Graham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to ensure accurate financial reporting and control of construction projects. You will manage the contractual relationships between the parties involved and support the commercial team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties include taking off drawings, site measurement, processing subcontract payments, producing cost schedules and forecasts, managing accounts, and reporting on cost and value while identifying risks and opportunities for delivery success.

Qualifications

• Degree-level study in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is required.
• Demonstrate understanding of construction management practices.
• Good communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Check and process sub-contract payments for work completed
• Ensure subcontractors are not charging for uncompleted work
• Take-off drawings and site measurement
• Produce schedules and cost forecasts for materials and works
• Prepare and manage project accounts and cost/value reports
• Identify and manage risk and opportunities
• Agree changes with Client's commercial team
• Deal with all project contracts and clauses
