Graham Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent Civil Engineering role based in Belfast. You will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and manage budgets, contract conditions and subcontracts on major projects.

The role requires main-contracting experience, NEC contract administration, and a degree or equivalent qualification. MRICS or MCICES are desirable; strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Main-contracting background with substantial civil-engineering experience and a degree or equivalent qualification.
• NEC contract-administration experience is required.
• Experience assessing compensation events and delay is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS or MCICES are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Expenditure reporting and forecasts of remaining costs; administer main contracts and subcontracts.
• Prepare correspondence relating to delay and loss and expense; produce delay narratives for claims; deal with subcontract issues.
• Follow variation and compensation-event procedures, forecast cash flow, represent the business at commercial meetings.
• Maintain regular contact with the employer's team; liaise with site management and manage staff resources.
