• Draft, review and negotiate ancillary deeds and property documents.
• Conduct property due diligence and report on development matters.

Overview

This is a fantastic role to join a leading regional firm who are highly ranked in the Top 75 Best Large Companies to Work For and Best Law Firm to work for in the UK.

Based in Cambridge, they are looking for a solicitor / associate to join their expanding commercial property department. This is great opportunity for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to further their career and build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Investment property and owner occupier disposals and acquisitions
• Commercial leases including renewals, assignments, underlettings, licences and surrenders across a number of sectors including life sciences, retail, food & beverage, leisure and manufacturing
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating ancillary deeds and property documents
• Property due diligence and title investigation and reporting for development matters
• Acting for clients and lenders in relation to property funding

About you

• NQ-4 PQE in commercial property
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law and practice, with relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience of investment transactions, commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
• Clear and confident communication skills
