Overview

Commercial Property Solicitor - Essex


Exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Associate / Senior Associate to join this leading firm with a number of offices in the East of England. Ideally you will have at least 7 years of experience in commercial property law, particularly within the Essex and Northern Home Counties area.


Responsibilities


  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and financing transactions

  • Provide high-quality legal advice to clients including businesses, investors, and developers

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the success of the commercial property team

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives


Qualifications


  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE in commercial property law

  • Background of working within a reputable private practice

  • Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions including landlord and tenant matters

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork


Day-to-Day


  • Reviewing and drafting commercial leases, contracts and agreements

  • Conducting due diligence and title investigations

  • Attending client meetings and providing professional advice and strategy recommendations

  • Networking and engaging in business development activities to expand the firm's client base

  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of commercial property matters
