Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Commercial and Pricing Manager to drive the commercial performance of its Insurance business within UK Retail Bank. You will lead pricing, evaluate investments, and manage relationships with Finance, Product, Sales and senior leadership to grow revenues and diversify offerings.

Based in London or Northampton, you will oversee pricing models, supplier discussions, and strategic investment decisions while balancing risk and reward in a highly visible role.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating business cases and prioritising investments.
• Experience managing P&L and pricing strategies.
• Experience with external suppliers and strategic partners.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into recommendations.
• Ability to drive commercial optimisation and change.

• Execute market research to understand landscape and opportunities.
• Develop pricing models ensuring profitability while remaining competitive.
• Develop and manage financial solutions aligned to bank objectives (loans, cash management, trade finance).
• Forge strategic partnerships to expand product offerings and client reach.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Set sales targets and identify channels to reach potential clients with suitable terms.
• Monitor metrics like new client acquisition, loan volume, revenue, and market share.
