Midland Heart invites applications for a Commercial & Performance Manager to drive improved performance across Voids and Lettings. You will lead a framework measuring, monitoring and improving service outcomes, with a strong focus on commercial performance, governance and data-driven improvement.

You will influence senior colleagues, coordinate improvement plans, and produce insightful reports to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in voids or repairs with a track record of improving performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing repairs or property-related contractor performance.
• Sound financial management including budget monitoring and forecasting.
• Ability to interpret complex performance data and translate insight into practical improvements.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing and delivering improvement or recovery plans with measurable results.
• Collaborative approach with operational leaders to improve services and outcomes for tenants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service performance framework with oversight of delivery, financial performance and outcomes.
• Drive commercial performance and value for money by managing contracts and contractor performance.
• Provide robust financial governance through budgeting, forecasting and assurance.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate end-to-end improvement plans with measurable benefits.
• Produce high-quality performance reports and strategic insights.
• Coach and influence colleagues to improve performance without direct line management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and contractors to foster accountability.
