Job summary

Akkodis is partnering with a rapidly expanding organisation to recruit a Commercial Operations Manager in Oldham. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts and supplier agreements, strengthening relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive governance and operational excellence.

The role focuses on contract negotiations, performance reviews, risk management, and implementing improved processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Operations, Contracts Management, Supplier Management, Vendor Management or Procurement.
• Strong stakeholder management across all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals and performance reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance, service delivery and contractual obligations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, contractual and operational risks.
• Establish and enhance commercial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with operational, legal, finance and technology teams.
• Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and requirements.
• Produce reporting and insights to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and governance.
• Support wider business change and transformation initiatives.
