Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a commercially minded Microsoft Solution Architect to support customers across Modern Work, Azure, Security and AI. This role is not hands-on engineering and targets candidates with direct customer experience who can translate challenges into Microsoft solutions.

You’ll work with a UK-based, medium-sized client base across professional services and manufacturing, supporting a small sales team with discovery, pre-sales and proposal work, while shaping high-level designs

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Modern Work, Azure and security solutions.
• Proven pre-sales experience translating customer needs into viable Microsoft solutions.
• Strong customer engagement and solution design capabilities.
• Ability to articulate high-level designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Run Microsoft tenant assessments and present commercially relevant findings.
• Understand customer challenges, priorities and existing environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, security and cost efficiency.
• Support sales with discovery sessions, pre-sales engagements and proposals.
• Design high‑level solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure and Security.
• Advise on Intune, Defender, Entra and Copilot AI topics.
• Manage opportunities from discovery through to handover to delivery.
