Persimmon Homes is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function for regional sites. You will supervise a team handling budgets, valuations, subcontractor payments and cost control to drive profitability.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, site budgeting experience in a volume housebuilder environment, and a full UK driving license. Join a UK-wide builder known for quality homes and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in a construction related subject.
• Proven experience of the commercial and buying processes.
• Experience in a volume house builder environment.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial aspects of sites and manage budgets.
• Produce bi-monthly valuations and payments to subcontractors.
• Present site valuations to Board showing budget variances.
• Negotiate sub-contract rates to maximise margins.
• Ensure COINS system is used for budgets and profitability.
• Coordinate with Construction, Sales, Customer Care, Accounts.
