Job summary

KHR - Recruitment Specialists in Aylesford is recruiting a Commercial Manager - Internal Sales. This leadership role oversees the internal commercial function, driving performance, customer service and continuous improvement across the business.

You will lead Technical Support, Order Processing, Quotations & Estimating and Customer Services, ensuring collaboration with the Commercial Director and National Sales Manager to align internal and external sales activity and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in people management and team leadership.
• Experience with sales or business development in a commercial context.
• Strong understanding of contracts, pricing and margins.
• Excellent communication bridging technical, operational and customer-facing teams.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the internal commercial teams with clear responsibilities.
• Drive customer service excellence across the customer journey.
• Improve quotations, order processing, technical support and customer services.
• Oversee CRM data, reporting and visibility of sales activity.
• Collaborate with external sales teams to improve handovers.
• Monitor KPIs and team performance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Lead the transition to a new functional structure to improve collaboration.
