We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Commercial Manager to oversee the Key Pharma portfolio and drive the commercial success of our products. The successful candidate will manage the sales process from start to finish, identify new customers, negotiate prices, and manage accounts to grow our business.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the office and a mix of 3 days on client visits and working from home.
Main Responsibilities
- Support strategic review of the portfolio and identify growth opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Act as a point of contact for UK customers, delivering exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use analytical skills to analyze customer purchasing behavior and develop key relationships.
- Support Supply Chain and Operations teams to identify supply risks.
- Review sales trends and update commercial and operations teams on changes to support decision-making.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and insights to optimize product and pricing strategies.
- Contribute to budget planning and ensure P&L aligns with the budget, communicating deviations.
- Liaise with internal teams including supply chain, operations, finance, and quality to ensure seamless operations.
- Generate and analyze reports for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate commercial data, including price lists and sales records, to support decision-making.
- Support forecasting, sales tracking, and performance monitoring to drive success.
- Manage key documents, ensuring smooth administration of invoices, agreements, and essential paperwork.
- Complete tenders for retail customers and support NHS tenders, including searching for opportunities.
- Support planning and execution of BD&L opportunities.
- Prepare go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Drive new business initiatives to meet or exceed goals.

- Maintain operational and system processes that are customer-focused, efficient, and compliant with policies and legislation.
- Contribute to KPI development and execution to enhance portfolio performance.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Degree in Business Management or a relevant field.
- Experience managing portfolios of generics and branded generics.
- Understanding of the UK generics market and key stakeholders.
- Experience in Business Development and Licensing (BDL) and commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Navision/SAGE is beneficial.
