We are currently working with a high-end fit-out & refurbishment main contractor with an impressive portfolio of hotel, private residence, and commercial space projects, successfully delivered over the past 15+ years. They are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to oversee a complex subcontractor package on a super prime residential project. Details can be discussed further upon application.

We seek a Commercial Manager with resilience, strong client relationship skills, and a passion for unique projects.

As a Senior Surveyor / Commercial Surveyor, your responsibilities will include managing project costs, supporting timely and within-budget delivery, leading commercial strategies, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
  2. Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documents.
  3. Conduct valuations, risk assessments, and financial reporting.
  4. Oversee subcontractor procurement and management.
  5. Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.
  6. Advise on contractual issues and dispute resolution.
  7. Lead negotiations and final account settlements.
  8. Mentor and guide junior surveyors or commercial staff.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of contracts like JCT, NEC.
  4. Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial software.
