The role:

With a full copy of the Job Specification available on request, the Commercial Manager will:

• Recognise new business opportunities and design bids to win new business.
• Negotiate and agree on contracts.
• Have full oversight of project financial management, take ownership of budgets, and control costs across large-scale projects.
• Be strategically minded – driving and improving standards across the business.

The person:

• Minimum 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience with on-site and management experience.
• At least 5 years of commercial experience in the electrical industry.
• Proven contractual awareness and knowledge of implementing commercial management T&Cs.
• Driven, customer-centric, highly motivated, and adept at winning new business.
• Proficient in MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel.
• Capable of handling pressure, multiple clients, contracts, and methods of measurement.
• A proficient problem solver – able to anticipate and eliminate problems early.
• Full driving license and car for business purposes.
