Job description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Combisafe Product Sales Manager for the UK South region to join us at Combisafe. You will be responsible for engaging with end users and distributors, providing coordination between Customers, Sales, Operations, Engineers, and Finance. Your role involves generating sales by offering solutions for various projects, providing technical and commercial advice, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. Success in this role is critical for meeting and exceeding sales revenue goals. It is a vital interface that influences customer perception of Honeywell and their willingness to buy and rent our products.

This is a remote role with 70% travel within the south of the UK.

Honeywell Industrial Automation helps customers operate more safely and efficiently, from refineries to retail stores. We focus on safety, sustainability, and productivity through connectivity, data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, automation, and asset management solutions.

We enable our customers to enhance safety, sustainability, resilience, and productivity of their people, plants, and assets.

Honeywell plans to sell its PPE business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, with closing expected in the first half of 2025. This role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this transaction when it closes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Honeywell key accounts and regular customers, including price negotiations, product applications, quotes, tenders, maintaining close contact.
  • Upsell based on customer knowledge and technical competence; cross-sell personal protective equipment.
  • Manage orders, rentals, inventory, product returns, procurement of special parts, transportation, invoicing, and participate in site meetings.
  • Provide technical support, engineering assistance, and product applications support to customers.
  • Supply customers with instructions, technical sheets, drawings, product advice, and sales literature (25% of calls).
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Education in commercial or international business.
  • Extensive experience in sales or customer service, preferably in construction.
  • ERP knowledge, specifically SAP B1.
  • Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
