Job summary

TSR Legal is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 4+ PQE to join our Dispute Resolution team in Newport, South Wales. The role can be full or part-time and involves handling a diverse caseload and providing strategic advice to a wide spectrum of clients.

You will negotiate, mediate, and, when necessary, pursue litigation while contributing to the growth of the department and maintaining excellent client relationships.

TSR Legal are currently representing a leading regional law firm based in Newport, South Wales, who are seeking an experiencedCommercial Litigationto join our dynamic Dispute Resolution team on either a full or part-time basis.

Our client offers a broad range of legal services to individuals, businesses, and organisations. Known for its approachable and client-focused ethos, the firm provides expert advice in areas including, Commercial and Residential Property, Commercial Litigation, Corporate and Commercial Law, Agricultural Law, and Private Client.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including partnership and shareholder disputes, construction disputes, property litigation, contentious probate, and agricultural disputes.
• Provide strategic legal advice to a broad range of clients, including businesses, landowners, farmers, charities, and individuals
• Negotiation and mediation skills to resolve disputes amicably when appropriate, while also being prepared to vigorously pursue or defend matters through litigation.
• Work closely with the Head of Dispute Resolution and other team members to develop and grow the department, contributing to the firm's overall success.
