Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Commercial Lead to drive the commercial performance of its Power & Renewables portfolio across the UK and Ireland. This senior role requires ownership of opportunities from early assessment through to final account, with a strong focus on risk management, value maximisation, and strategic alignment with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
• Senior commercial or QS leadership experience in engineering/construction.
• Experience in power, energy, or infrastructure projects (renewables preferred).
• Expertise in contracts, commercial strategy, and risk management.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills; analytical, process-minded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all commercial activities across Power & Renewables BU.
• Drive revenue, margin, and cashflow through reporting and cost control.
• Oversee tendering, contract signing, and project delivery.
• Manage risks, governance, and commercial framework adherence.
• Support client relationships and strategic growth across UK & Ireland.
