Job summary

VWFS in Milton Keynes is offering an undergraduate Commercial Insights Analyst placement. You will support commercial analysis, performance reporting and market research across multiple business channels.

The role is hybrid with three office days per week; you will work with large datasets to turn analysis into clear messages for stakeholders and help shape product and channel decisions.

About The Role

Location: Milton Keynes

Closing Date: 30th September 2026

Salary: £23,915.49

Contract: 12-13months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July

Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

We’re looking for an undergraduate to join our Customer & Product Transformation team as a Commercial Insights Analyst Undergraduate where you will support commercial analysis, performance reporting and market research across multiple business channels. This is a broad, high-impact placement for someone who wants to use evidence, insight and commercial thinking to help shape product and channel decisions. What are we looking for?

• Currently undertaking a degree with evidence of producing analysis and recommendations through university coursework.
• Analytical, logical and confident working with data.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to build an evidence-based argument.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence working with stakeholders.
• Driven, hard-working, inquisitive and proactive.
• Strong time management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience would be advantageous.
• Interest in automotive, consumer finance or consumer behaviour would be beneficial.
