Job summary

JANE GORSE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a fast-growing, multi-site manufacturing group near Droitwich. You will own financial control and reporting across the group and help shape better systems, processes and commercial insight.

Leading monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, you’ll partner with the Group Finance Director to influence strategy and investor reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with strong technical accounting and financial control experience.
• Experience in multi-site, group or acquisitive businesses.
• Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams.
• Strong Excel and ERP/Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across the group.
• Own the month-end close timetable and produce management accounts.
• Deliver reporting across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and performance.
• Maintain balance sheet control and oversee site reconciliations.
• Strengthen financial controls and align accounting practices across sites and acquisitions.
• Support statutory reporting, audit, tax and group reporting.
• Collaborate with the Group Finance Director on board packs and investor updates.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Analyse revenue, margins, overheads, EBITDA and working capital to spot trends.
• Develop financial models for scenario planning and cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive performance improvements.
• Drive ERP, reporting improvements and dashboard visibility.
• Lead and mentor a team across management accounting, transactional finance and FP&A.
