Job summary

Counted Recruitment is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a growing multi-site manufacturing group near Worcester. The role combines traditional financial control with commercially focused insights, partnering with the Group Finance Director to shape reporting, systems and forecasting across sites and recent acquisitions.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Proven financial controls experience in a multi-site environment.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting; own month-end close.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and variance commentary.
• Maintain strong balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
• Drive standardised accounting across sites and new acquisitions.
• Support statutory reporting, audit, tax and group reporting.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecast process; provide financial insight to leadership.
