Job summary

K.A.G. Recruitment has partnered with a leading Food manufacturing client to recruit a UK Financial Controller for their Warminster site.

The role combines financial leadership with hands-on control of month-end close, group reporting and treasury oversight across two sites in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive improvements, support SAP enhancements, ensure HMRC compliance, and develop the financial accounting teams while partnering with operations and senior leadership to

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge: month-end reporting, statutory accounts, audits, cashflow forecasting, HMRC compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience using SAP or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting, month-end close and Group reporting.
• Oversee period-end close and inter-company reconciliation.
• Prepare and review monthly cost centre reporting for departmental managers.
• Monitor cashflow forecasts, treasury activities and working capital.
• Maintain General Ledger master data and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee VAT, PSA, Intrastat and HMRC submissions; support audits.
• Lead Financial Accounting teams across two sites; drive robust controls.
• Support SAP developments and cross-site financial process improvements.
• Provide financial insight to Operations, Commercial and Senior Leadership.
