Job summary

HVAC Recruitment seeks a Mobile Gas Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial boilers and gas equipment across sites in the Midlands, including Birmingham, the West Midlands and Stoke-on-Trent.

The role focuses on service, fault finding and repair of commercial gas, heating and related plant, with a 40-hour week, a permanent contract and a salary of £38,000–£43,000 plus overtime and a company van.

Qualifications

• Current Commercial Gas qualifications are essential.
• Experience on commercial boilers and heating systems preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers and gas equipment.
• Fault finding and breakdown response across commercial heating systems.
• Carry out maintenance on heating and hot water systems and document work.
• Complete PPM and reactive maintenance and update CAFM systems.
• Work on domestic boilers where required and participate in on-call rota.

Mobile Gas Engineer

£38,000 – £43,000 + Overtime + Van

Midlands – Birmingham, West Midlands & Stoke-on-Trent

40 Hours per Week | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to join a commercial maintenance team covering sites throughout the Midlands.

The successful Mobile Gas Engineer will primarily cover Birmingham, the West Midlands and Stoke-on-Trent, working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties including schools and office buildings.

The role is focused on the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial gas, heating and associated plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers and gas equipment
• Fault finding and breakdown response across commercial heating systems
• Maintain gas-fired radiant heaters, water heaters and control valves
• Carry out heating and hot water system maintenance
• Complete PPM and reactive maintenance
• Identify plant failures and required remedial works
• Complete maintenance documentation and update CAFM systems
• Work on domestic boilers where required
• Participate in a 1 in 5 on-call rota

As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will be trusted to manage your workload across your allocated sites while providing a high standard of commercial gas maintenance and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

Current Commercial Gas qualifications are essential. This position is not suitable for a domestic-only Gas Engineer.

Candidates must hold the appropriate current commercial gas qualifications for the equipment being maintained and have previous experience working on commercial boilers and heating systems.
